THE Student Sponsorship Program Returns June 2-5, 2025

Dear Students,

On behalf of THE Mining Investment Event of the North (‘THE Event”) we are thrilled to extend a warm invitation for you to participate in THE Student Sponsorship Program ’25. THE Student Sponsorship Program is an initiative designed to provide a unique educational experience in the dynamic field of mining.

THE Student Sponsorship Program offers a one-of-a-kind exposure to the mining industry through participation in THE Mining Investment Event, Canada’s Only Tier 1 Mining Investment Conference, held from June 3 to 5, 2025 in Quebec City at the Centre des congrès de Québec. This annual event serves as a nexus for industry leaders, providing students with an unprecedented opportunity for knowledge exchange, networking, and immersive learning.

As part of this program, up to 50 university or college students with a passion for geology, finance, engineering, or any other ecology/social science study that can be related to mining or mining activity will have the chance to attend the conference at no cost. Our goal is to foster experiential learning by integrating students into the conference atmosphere. This will provide students with access to keynote speakers, industry panels, professional meet-and-greets events, a student case study competition, and focused networking events. Through these avenues, we hope to highlight for students the myriad of opportunities available because of the Canadian mining industry’s global interconnectedness, and to create real investment in developing the next diverse generation of mining leaders.

The benefits of THE Student Sponsorship include:

• Transportation:

Bus or other shuttle transportation from the Central Station Berri-UQUAM to/from Montreal to the Delta Hotel by Marriott in Quebec City, with pick-up on Monday, June 2, and return on Thursday, June 5.

• Accommodation:

Single accommodation at the Delta Hotel by Marriot in Quebec City, checking in on June 2 and checking out on June 5.

• Special Student Dinner:

A unique opportunity for students to connect with sponsors at the a dedicated room in the Quebec Convention Center, allowing for meaningful interactions, questions, and, if desired, short company presentations tailored to student awareness.

• Meals:

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffet meals at the conference venue.

• Access:

Full access to conference presentations, panels, and networking events through active audience participation.

• Application Deadline:

Friday, May 9, 2025.

• Networking Opportunity:

Students will have the chance to post their resumes and a presenting company case study in our newly designed Opportunities Bank where participants of THE Event will have access to review resumes and post job opportunities.
